Evocative was founded in 1996 with the simple purpose of making websites work better by placing the landscape of complex, disparate Internet technologies within the grasp of almost any business.
Over the last eight years Evocative has served hundreds of clients of all sizes with demanding requirements for real-world, mission-critical applications. Evocative's focus on engineering fundamentals and project management methodology consistent with the founders' software development background allows the company to bring website designs to life, while creating a lasting, stable foundation using standards-based technologies. Lynn Locher, MSc., Locher Consulting Inc.
Lynn Locher is a long term resident of Northeast BC and has lived in Fort Nelson prior to moving to Fort St John. She is a committed and enthusiastic supporter of various community development activities. An active participant in both the social and professional fabric of her community, she has developed a reputation of being capable and informed with a vision for strong, healthy communities in Northeast BC.
Lynn has served in several positions at the Northern Lights College as a senior manager, counselor and instructor. She has also served on various community and provincial committees and boards with a focus to developing and improving services and supports at the local level. Lynn worked for a number of years in the non profit sector in management positions, and in the group facilitation and community development fields.
As a consultant, Lynn has been involved in projects through the Northern Opportunities and Success by Six Initiatives. Lynn's broad based knowledge and experience in community social services, community development, employment, training and education along with her extensive professional network serve as the basis for her success and continued commitment to community development.
Lynn holds a BSC from the Universite de Montreal, MSC in Educational Policy and Management from the University of Oregon and is a certified adult education instructor.
Baremetal Inc.
Ever since we started building websites, we needed a place to store them and access to technology to manage our clients websites. Baremetal Inc. is based in Victoria, BC with web servers located in both Canada and the US. All of our clients needs are met using Baremetal's hosting services. Offering great tech support, we work as a reseller and work closely with the Baremetal team. Lead by Tom Brown, Baremetal offers a variety of special services that we provide to clients ranging from easy to setup email accounts to php/mySQL support.

Universal Head
Universal Head believes good design is about solving communication problems. Lead by one of the best designers we have met, is Peter Gifford. As CEO of Universal Head, Peter has worked on some of the most creative projects we have touched. These include the realMYST project and Myst III Exile.
Philip Andrews Design
Eldoren has worked with Philip Andrews Design for over ten years. Specializing in everything from professional logo/brand/identity development to user interface and interactive application design. Philip, CEO of "PAD" works from his office just north of San Francisco in beautiful Marin County. Working from the top of Mt. Tamalpais, Philip has generated some incredible project work and has developed an "A" list of clients. Eldoren's project work with PAD has ranged from Stockworm Inc. to Internet Securities and Vocal Stream.
Peace Country New Media Association
Eldoren Design is a proud member of the Peace Country New Media Association, a information technology cluster in Northeastern BC offering Video, Print, Web Development and other IT related services. As interim president, Gordon is currently leading this team to build a strong IT team of professionals. We will be providing additional details over the next few weeks on the Peace Country New Media Association.
Subcontractors
In addition to the companies listed on this page, Eldoren Design works with individual subcontractors on a daily basis. People like John Gallant of PositionIsEverything.net. We also work with computer programmers like Susan Chhina, a computer programmer specializing in C/C++, Java, C#/VB.Net, VB 6.0, OpenGL, MS office component object model, NS, NesC, OpenGL, Prolog and LISP. She also works with SQL, Oracle SQL Plus, Oracle, MS Access, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
Creative team members in the past have included Michael and Suzanne Penner, Doug McBride, and dozens of others including Gordon's daughter Alysha Currie.
